Hi ! I am so grateful that you are here, welcome. My name is Shaunetta Campbell, and I am an abstract artist. My work is inspired and produced as an expression of emotion. Through creating from my lens of emotion, it is my hope that those viewing will be able to perceive beauty from their lens. Through abstract mediums, I aim to capture emotions in their rawest forms. Every brushstroke, color, and texture serve as an attempt to convey the complexity of each emotion. 

I work intuitively, allowing the materials and flow of emotions to dance how they wish on the canvas. My art process involves a lot of spontaneity, unpredictability, authenticity, and vulnerability. My goal isn’t always to create something visually appealing. In fact, my goal is to remain true to myself throughout the creative process until the finished product, as well as the complete processing of the emotions tied to the product. It is also my goal to offer a different perspective on the potential negative emotions that went into the piece.

It is my belief that beauty can be found in everything, one just has to search for it. My work is meant to be felt rather than understood, while also inspiring viewers to walk in their authenticity surrounding emotional vulnerability.
